What our clients say about us...

“We were desperate to move away from our existing provider—this national company covered payroll, benefits administration, and HR information for us but there was no cohesion across those systems whatsoever. To top it off, they provided poor service and increased our rates every July like clockwork. We wanted to find a new company that could offer a more integrated solution, a lower price, and better service. We hit the jackpot when we were referred to Payroll Systems by our broker. The systems are very well integrated and I can’t say enough about their customer service. As an HR person with no backup within our small company, having Payroll Systems available to help me with anything right away provides a huge sense of relief.”

What’s New & Good to Know

What is ACA?

The Affordable Care Act (ACA)—also known by its unofficial name, ObamaCare—is the US health reform legislation signed into law by President Barack Obama in March of 2010. The law contains hundreds of provisions that address different aspects of healthcare, and for employers impacts payroll reporting, benefits management, human resources, requiring mandatory IRS reporting and continuous monitoring of informational updates.

Does the ACA apply to your business?

If your business has 50 or more full-time employees and equivalents (FTEs), then you are subject to Employer Shared Responsibility provisions including:

  • Filing annual information returns
  • Reporting aggregated health care costs on employee W-2s if issued 250 or more W-2s the previous year
