Our story began in 1989, and it is incredible to think that it was over 26 years ago with a small staff, small office, and a handful of clients. Some things have changed as we’ve grown—and some haven’t.

Our commitment to our employees
We are fortunate to have a tenured staff, with employees celebrating 20+ years with us and many others approaching their 10-year mark. This stability has allowed us to grow, learn and add services without adversely impacting quality of services. We take the time to get to know and support each other with summer BBQs, Napa excursions, annual awards and celebrations, and our very own Tony Awards (in honor of our founder and entrepreneur Tony Bowden)

We’ve taken the time to get to know our clients and what they need, which allows us to maintain an exceptional client retention rate, always residing between 96% – 98%, year after year. We are proud of this 26-year accomplishment, which reflects our service and sales team commitments to each other and our clients.

Consistency in service
We’ve grown—adding services, adding employees, and even moved our offices a few times, and usually, if at all possible, the service specialist remains the same for each of our customers. We take great pride in thoughtfully matching client managers with their customers, so we become a part of the team, year after year.

We’ve listened to our customer needs and responded, developing solutions that make sense for companies as they grow in size and encounter multilayered compliance needs. We’ve added service experts and integrated solutions for Time & Attendance, HRIS, and Benefits Administration.

We’ve upped our game
Client feedback and our development team have led to some dynamic improvements over the years from the smallest of enhancements to the grandest. We’ve added solutions with integrations that really work, enhanced employee self-service functionality, added online secure payroll tax reports, and continue to enhance the pre-payroll processing data audits.
