The Federal Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) requires employers to provide insurance continuation to employees and their dependents who would otherwise lose coverage due to a qualifying event. COBRA compliance includes written notification of COBRA rights to all benefit eligible employees and their dependents at the time of enrollment, as well as other required notices once enrolled in continuation coverage.
